Eric Rait

In September 2012, he left Microsoft after a varied and rich career over 19 years. From 2007-2012, he led the People and Organization Capability function (POC) for Microsoft International; in this role, he was responsible for leadership development, organization development, and senior talent management for Microsoft’s sales and marketing organization outside of North America – an organization of over 17,000 people. He worked directly with the President of Microsoft International and his 11 Area Vice Presidents, helping them grow into a high performing leadership team. Prior to that, Eric provided organizational and leadership development expertise to Microsoft’s largest engineering organization for 5 years. Eric also led several software development teams as a Group Program Manager from 1995-2000.

Eric has global experience, strong partnering and collaborative skills, engages confidently with senior executives and brings an innovative perspective and commitment to results to the work bench. He enjoys working with individual leaders, leadership teams and at the organizational level.

He has an Ed.M. from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education and completed his Ph.D. studies in Organizational Behavior at Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations. He divides his time between Tel Aviv and Seattle.
