A Fresh Approach to Leading Diverse Teams

Jack Welch famously quipped “If the rate of change on the outside exceeds the rate of change on the inside, the end is near.”

The importance of teams being able to more quickly develop and cohere is the premise the “Leading Diverse Teams” presentation this month at the Emerging Leaders conference of the Arizona Society of CPA’s in Scottsdale AZ by Ontos Principal, Lisa Koss. Lisa received the highest rating on her content among all the speakers at the conference, and was invited as the keynote speaker for the same conference at the 2014 conference to be held Aug 15.

Diverse and global teams can dramatically improve their results if they can track the dynamics in their teams and expose what is getting in the way of progress.  Moreover, demonstrating effective group process skills is alternative way to provide leadership beyond through one’s functional expertise.

Lisa Koss was invited back this year after being a part of their first annual conference in 2012, when she presented “Understanding Executive Presence”.

The Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants (ASCPA) is the largest professional organization operating specifically for CPAs in Arizona. The ASCPA has more than 6,000 members, including CPAs in business and industry, public practice, government, nonprofit and education.  For more, see www.ascpa.com.
