Jim Elzinga
Jim Elzinga combined his abilities as a team leader, educator and motivator in leading the history-making Everest Light expedition. Against enormous odds in extreme conditions, Jim led the small-dedicated team in pioneering a new route up Mount Everest, enabling the first North American woman to reach the summit of the world’s highest mountain.
Jim worked at the time with a major financial institution that had their own Everest to climb. After he helped them establish a transformational environment, a massive cultural shift took place unifying the 1500 employees into a powerful force that generated $1.7 billion dollars of new business.
Over the past 15 years, Jim has worked globally with leading companies in every sector from finance, manufacturing to pharmaceuticals. His specialties include change management, team and leadership development programs and executive coaching.
He is a graduate of the accredited International Coaching Federation (ICF) International Gestalt Coaching program at the Cleveland based Gestalt Center for Systems and Organizational Development. Jim is also a graduate of the three year Organization and Systems Development Program (OSD) that is offered through the Gestalt OSD Center He also holds advanced certification in Group Process from the same institution.
