Lisa Koss specializes in supporting global leaders to overcome the challenges and leverage the opportunities of their global and culturally diverse organizations around the world.
Consulting and coaching to leaders since 1997 (previously founder and principal of International Advantage®), Lisa’s clients range across sectors, including professional and business-service organizations, manufacturing, technology and mission-oriented organizations. Clients include ITT Corporation, Honeywell International, Ernst & Young, Thunderbird School of Global Management, Molex Inc, BP, Heifer Project International, Pentair Technical Products, Berlitz International, France Telecom, TATA Consultancy Services, among others. Her areas of focus include leadership and team development, talent management, executive coaching and design and support of organizational change initiatives, specializing in cross-cultural contexts.
Lisa works in English, Spanish, French, and basic Russian.
Lisa is a PhD student in Human and Organizational Development at Fielding Graduate University. She also completed the post-graduate programs including the International Gestalt Coaching Program in 2008 and the International Organizational Systems and Development Program in 2006, both through the Gestalt OSD Center. She has completed executive education programs at Harvard Law School and at the Thunderbird School of Global Management. In 1997 she completed her M.A. from the University of S. Mississippi, at theirMexicocampus, and her B.A. in International Relations in 1991 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has also studied at educational institutions in Paris, France; San Jose, Costa Rica and Saint Petersburg, Russia.
In 2007, Lisa earned her Certified Management Consultant (CMC®) designation – which measures consulting competency and ethical judgment — through the Institute of Management Consultants USA, the highest accreditation awarded in the management consulting profession. Her Professional Certified Coach (PCC®) credential reflects over 750 client coaching hours, among other criteria measuring competence and ethical standards from the International Coaching Federation.
Lisa has served in professional organizations including roles as: Past President of the Institute of Management Consultants, Arizona Chapter; Liaison to Latin America for the National Association of Women Business Owners; Member of Organizational Development Network; and Member of the International Coaching Federation.
She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
