Cortney Cahill, M.S.O.D, based in Burlington, VT, is a passionate and energetic organization development scholar and practitioner. She has twelve years experience facilitating, consulting, and coaching in mission-driven organizations. Cortney’s work focuses on helping individuals and organizations drive results by changing behaviors, shifting thinking, and becoming aware of underlying beliefs and assumptions in service of growth. Cortney coaches executives and leadership teams to navigate change.
Cortney holds a Masters in Organization Development from American University and National Training Labs of Applied Behavioral Science (NTL), and a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Colorado. Cortney is a faculty for the NTL Diversity Practitioner Certificate Program and an adjunct faculty at Champlain College. She is also a graduate of the International Organization System Development Program at the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland.
Cortney has worked as an internal organization development consultant both in healthcare and in marketing. In both positions her work focused on leadership development, training, change management, and coaching. Earlier in her career, she worked with organizations designing and leading teambuilding activities, and guided international travelers on walking vacations throughout Latin America. In addition to her active professional schedule, she has served as an officer and board member for Mobius, a community mentoring program.
